Hey.. i just read your comment on Tony Jones site and beliefnet.. about queeremergent… and i wanted to say thank you… for expressing very clearly your concerns in a loving and also direct way… i’m not sure how i’m gonna address some of this… as i am friends with many in Emergent Village … and the like… i have a long time friend that i guess would be considered part of the early convo when it was young leaders, whom i’ve kinda given a prophetic heads up on the fire storm that is coming. (about 3 months ago)- before some of this came into the limelight… please fire up a prayer for me if you think of it………. or He nudges… eesh… i felt like the Lord impressed upon my heart and spirit.. about 6-7 months ago.. that there would be a “civil war” (which is the word i heard) – in the Body of Christ… and i honestly think this is what Holy Spirit was referring to … love it when God does puns… as in Civil war…. and Civil union thing…

No worries, glad i gave you a smile,- some of this is gonna get messy, and love is key….. Tony got a lot of nasty comments too.. and that just made me cringe even more… – i know – this is a biggy in the convo… and because of his leadership on a lot of things… this storm was gonna come… but thing is… i do understand much of it…. and what we really need is a dose of Holy Spirit wisdom, or this is gonna just go round and round.. I do believe that someone can be a Christian and still be struggling with sin,- cuz we all are when it gets right down to it….. but the bickering to make points needs to stop…. cuz it’s obviously NOT working…… anyway, i’m standing back and not getting in the fray just yet, we tend to get those that are struggling thru our doors…. so it’s more one on one with a lot of love…. and to get into online arguments is just pointless. I hate it when folks throw scripture like rocks or pull “proof texting” as a weapon…….. esp.. when it says… that “it’s his kindness that brings us to repentance”… i’m not seeing a lot of that Kindness in this debate.
come Holy Spirit.. we need you….. all of us!
